I saw a commercial with the slogan "the more you spend the more you save".

Seriously?  Do people really buy into that?  No pun intended.  The less you spend the more you save, dummies.  But I'm cheap.  Even at Christmas.

Everyone knows it's "The more you know, the more you Kohl's."

Cause "Kohl's" is a verb...right?

To their credit though, there is truth to this. If you sign up for Amazon Prime, you spend an extra $25 or whatever. You've essentially spent more. However, all items you order at that point can ship for free and/or ship 2 Day instead of arriving next century. You spent more (money), you saved more (money and time).
