PART 3 OF 3: THE AMERICAN FORK CANYON

I was so happy that the Schaat's decided to stick around for Labor Day.  We all bundled up and went into the American Fork Canyon for some scenic fun (although Marjean found the winding and elevated roads less fun than the rest of us).

We spent most of our time at Silver Lake Flats.

Les and Marjean kindly watched Lenna so that Rauland, Gavin, and I could explore a little bit around the lake.

We got back to discover that Lenna had been less than pleasant for grandma and grandpa.

We finished off a wonderful day with a wonderful meal at Golden Corral, and hesitantly said goodbye as the Schaats headed back to Idaho.  We miss you already.
